The moon was not seen in the sky of the country, Eid is Thursday
The National Moon Sighting Committee said that the moon of the month of Shawwal was not seen in the sky of the country . As a result, this year 30 Ramadan will be completed tomorrow Wednesday (April 10). Accordingly, next Thursday (April 11), the holy Eid- ul-Fitr will be celebrated across the country.
This decision was announced after the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee on Tuesday (April 9) evening. Religious Minister Md. Faridul Haque Khan presided over the Moonlighting Committee of Islamic Foundation in a meeting. At the end of the meeting, the matter of celebrating Eid on Thursday was informed.
After the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee in the evening, the president of the committee Md. Faridul Haque Khan said that efforts have been made to see the moon from seven divisional and 64 district offices of the country. Monitoring has also been conducted from the Meteorological Department. But there was no news of seeing the moon anywhere.
